NOTE: Migration of ADF to JET 3/1/2022

What
JD Edwards has released a solution to convert the existing ADF-based programs to JET-based by leveraging Oracle’s JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET) components..

How
ADF to JET converted programs will replicate the key capabilities as exists in the corresponding ADF application, presenting the users with a similar ease of use and understanding.

Benefits
• ADF-JET features will provide an intuitive interface that includes drag & drop, improved UI and increased visibility into the business data.
• Converting to JET will align the feature with Oracle's current technology direction
• These features will increase customer adoption, by removing the requirement to install and configure an ADF server to use it.
• Supports WebLogic or WebSphere with no additional licensing.
• Utilizes the latest Oracle UI development tool set.
• Easier adoption to mobile platforms (write once, deploy many model)
• Follows JD Edwards general migration to client-side UI architecture vs server-side UI generation.
• Empowers developers with a modular, open source toolkit.
• Aligns with other application areas such as UX One.

ADF Support
• Support existing JDE ADF applications through 2023

The Work Center Load Review Calendar provides daily, weekly, and monthly calendar views of scheduled work center resources with real time visibility of remaining available capacity to aid in the scheduling of manufacturing resources. Remaining capacity is graphically displayed for each day, and convenient exits to inquiries and maintenance apps required for scheduling decisions and adjustments are included.

• Adjustable (day, week, month) calendar views of scheduled work center load and remaining capacity
• Convenient exits to apps required for scheduling adjustments and other work order maintenance and planning support

Search on Task ID = 25/G3111

Under the Executable Tab, Change Task Type from ‘ADF Application’ to ‘Interactive’
Then add Option Code = 1  Blind Execution
Then save

After making the change, go into Server Manager and access the HTML server and clear the JDBj Database Caches.
Once you log back into E1, and access the menu item, the correct JET app is displayed correctly.  You can tell that you are running the correct code by the buttons displayed at the top of the screen.
