E1: FDA: Default Pushbutton Functionality Does Not Work in Message Forms
Last updated on MAY 30, 2017
Applies to:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When the 'Default Pushbutton' option is selected for any additional button added to the message form, the focus is not set on this button when running the application. The focus is always on the default button which comes along with the message form when inserting the message form.
Steps to replicate:
1. Create a new application and insert a message form to the application, set this as the entry point form. OK button comes by default and Default Pushbutton option is NOT selected for this OK button.
2. Add an additional push button in the message form.
3. Go to the properties for the new push button added and select the 'Default Pushbutton' check-box.
4. Save the changes and run the application. As shown below, the default focus is still on the OK button and NOT on the Cancel button selected as Default PushButton in step 3.
