This article provides an overview of the integration platform available through Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to integrations. JD Edwards supports a wide variety of standards-based integration techniques from grid import and export options to simple point-to-point integrations using EDI import and export tables to sophisticated real-time approaches using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and modern lightweight standards and protocols supporting mobile and REST based applications.
Depending on the company’s business requirements, some or all of the following integration options and methodologies can be an integral part of the total solution that starts with JD Edwards’s seamless delivered ERP business processes:
