E1: 13: 17: 90CD: Date Field Names and Order not Consistent Throughout Work Order Applications (Doc ID 1998365.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 23, 2015

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Capital Asset Management - Version 9.1 and later
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Service Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently the work order applications that are used in Service Warranty Management and Capital Asset Management have date fields that are not consistently named and ordered. This can make it cumbersome for maintenance requestors, planners and technicians to accurately inquire on, update and change.

The request is to provide a consistent order and naming convention in the work order applications for all date fields. Below is the suggested order:

1. DRQJ

2. STRT

3. DPL

4. STRX

On forms where the Order Date (the date when the work order was entered into the system) is displayed, below would be the suggested order:

1. TRDJ

2. DRQJ

3. STRT

4. DPL

5. STRX

Also, the date field names in CAM and SWM should be uniform among the work order screens.
