E1: 31: Request For Work Order Inbound Interoperability Functionality (Doc ID 2004298.1)

Last updated on APRIL 12, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.0 to 9.0 [Release 9.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Per document <629428.1 - E1: 31: EDI Importing Work Orders into JDE and Updating WO Status, Parts Lists & Routings>, inbound interoperability is not supported for any of the work order records stored in F4801 as the Work Order Document Number (DOCO.F4801) is the primary key to the file and there is not a way to synchronize the incoming numbers with JDE Next Numbers. The P4801Z1 application currently cannot be used for uploading inbound work orders (WO) or work order headers from external systems.  The interoperability table F4801Z1 is designed to (1) hold outbound work order header records to export to external systems and to (2) hold inbound completion transaction records against existing work orders.

This request is to incorporate standard inbound interoperability function to facilitate work order migration from third party or from legacy systems to EnterpriseOne.
