The Line of Business functionality is activated in the A/R Constants (P0000). A customer has a Customer Master (F03012) record for company 00000 and for company 1, and has a past due A/R invoice where the Document Company (KCO) field has a different value, e.g 50.
After Credit Analysis Refresh (R03B525) is run to create Credit & Cash Management (F03B15) table records for this invoice, a user inquires on the customer via Account Balance Inquiry (P03B218), and selects the record where Company (CO) is 1. This opens up the Account Status Summary (W03B218C) form.
On this form the past due invoice shows up in one of the Aging buckets on the right side of the form, e.g. bucket 2 (31 - 60 days). When the user clicks on the button next to the field, marked "2", the system opens the Work with Customer Ledger Inquiry program (P03B2002, form W03B2002A).
However, the company number value of 1 is put in the QBE field above the Document Company (KCO) column on this form, instead of in the QBE field above the Company (CO) column. This results in a blank grid as the KCO value for this invoice is 50 and not 1.
