E1: FDA: Data Dictionary Description, Language Translations, Vocabulary Overrides, Jargon are Not Applied in Interactive Applications (Doc ID 2009411.1)

Symptoms

When running an interactive application on the Web client, the correct Language Translations do not display or the correct Vocabulary Overrides or Jargon descriptions are not being applied.

This issue occurs when saving an Interactive Application in Form Design Aid (FDA) on tools release 9.1.5.x or when applying a recent ESU where the application was saved by EnterpriseOne Development at this tools release level.

When encountering the issue, the following symptoms occur:

• Data Dictionary language translations do not appear. The application has a mixture of domestic/blank (English) and non-domestic/blank language translations
• Jargon description defined for a control on a form is not applied and the default data dictionary description displays
• Data Dictionary row and/or column description overrides are not applied and the default data dictionary description displays
• Vocabulary Overrides defined for the application are not applied and the default data dictionary description displays

Example 1

Application P0411 displays with both the non domestic/blank language translations and domestic/blank(English) language field descriptions:

Jargon description has been defined for field Order Number to display the field name as Contract Number.  When running the application P4310 from G43D11 menu option, the field incorrectly displays as Order Number and the Jargon is not applied
