After changing the Data Dictionary(DD) description of a DD item, if the changes have not been deployed on server,  then business function X0005 GetUDC starts to fail if this DD item is passed as a parameter to the business function. For e.g. users will start receiving errors on aplication P48013 category codes tab, field WR06 Category Code 6 , as soon as  the description of WR06 is modified . Users will get error on OK button click event when the getUDC on WR06 is triggered

Business function fails with Error Code 4375 -Invalid Parameters . However, the application forms will display error on UDC associated fields with error message "User Defined Code Error"

Call Object Kernel Log :

Although the errors will disappear after the changes in Data Dictionary item description have been deployed successfully on Enterprise Server , this issue prevents users from using applications till the changes have been deployed successfully .

Issue can only be observed if there is a time gap between the change of a DD item  and deployment of this change during which applications calling X0005 GetUDCs are used .
