E1: 09E: Increase The Number Of Characters For Field CICCTN In The Credit Card Transaction Interface Table (F09E150) (Doc ID 2018726.1)

Last updated on JUNE 27, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Expense Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When importing credit card information to the Credit Card Transaction Interface Table (F09E150) the CICCTN (transaction #) allows only 20 characters.
The credit card companies generally use a transaction number with a set of characters that varies between 23 and 35 (see attached document from VISA. Page 59, point 4 shows the transaction #).
Please increase the number of digits from 20 to 35 with the zero filling. This will keep the data consistent across the system regardless of the transaction number characters used.
