E1: 42: Manual Commitment of Backordered Line Removes 900 Status From Order (Doc ID 2022002.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 20, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Entry - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9.1 to 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When manual commitment is done to a backorder, the status 900/540 moves to 520/540. The last status 900 has been changed.

Status 900 through 999 are reserved by JD Edwards and hard coded in the system to make the process standardized. As an example, if an order is backorder at Sales Order Entry its standard status is 900/540. This order  will remain with its Last Status as 900 throughout the entire process for audit purposes so that if a user inquires on this order later on it will be clear that this order was backordered at sales order entry.
