Symptoms

When the transportation (TMS) interfaces were added to the sales order entry and purchasing order entry systems, there was no consideration for the processing of direct ship orders; however the E1 product does not prevent customers from creating shipments for direct ship orders.

As the TMS interfaces exist today, there are numerous issues with trying to support shipments for direct ship orders.  We do not support the E1 TMS interface for direct ship orders at this time due to the limitations that currently exist.  This bug is the enhancement request to address the limitations for direct ship orders and incorporate possible support for these orders at a later date.
