E1: FDA: Error "Invalid Long Address Number" does not Clear after Selecting a Valid Value from the Visual Assist in P4310 (Doc ID 2027270.1)

Error message does not  refresh and Clear the Error after Selecting a Value from the Visual Assist Form.  


  1. Enter invalid name in Supplier Number field such as “Allenn” and press Tab.  Will receive error “invalid long address number”.

  2. Use visual assist to select correct value from the Address Book Long Number Search form.

  3. Correct value is returned on the screen but the error does not clear. The Supplier Number field is highlighted as if its still in error.

    This issue seems to be isolated to data dictionary items ALKY.  In other applications like P0411 and P01012 when using the visual assist form to return an address book number, the error clears from the form.  Also, in P4310 once the user selects a valid address book number from the Search form, the order will be successfully entered even though it appears there is an error.  

    The workarounds are:
    1. Ignore the error. The users will be able to continue on, complete the order and add it successfully.
    2. Type in values without using the visual assist.
