Provide functionality in EnterpriseOne to allow processing options and data selection to be set to “TODAY”. Word Software has this functionality and provides the following features:
• *TODAY can be used with any of the Boolean Logic tests except LIKE and NLIKE.
• Days can be added to or subtracted from today's date.
• A combination of *TODAY and literal values can be used.
The examples below show some of the ways that *TODAY can be used on the Data Selection screens. The Order Date field (SDTRDJ) from F4211 is used in the examples. Any date field stored in a file in the julian format can be use with *today. TODAY can be typed in upper or lower case.
To select records where the Order Date is equal to today's date:
Order Date . . . . . . EQ *TODAY
To select records where Order Date is less than or equal to today's date minus 7 days:
Order Date . . . . . . LE *TODAY - 7
To select records where Order Date is in a range of today's date minus 365 days through today's date:
Order Date . . . . . . RANGE *TODAY - 365 *TODAY
