Symptoms
While installing the update package to a Web Development Client that contains specific custom versions the package install gets an error related to updating certain spec keys.
The update package installs fine on the Enterprise Server.
The objects build fine in the update package, the error occurrs when installing the update package with these objects to the workstation.
The objects build and install in a FULL package without issue.
The objects can also be transferred to the workstation with an advanced get.
In the jde.log and debug log we are seeing the following error:
While committing the GBRSPEC event, f5410c1c-85da-4efa-930f-95079553edb0, the error, JDESPECRESULT_JAVARUNTIMEEXCEPTION, was encountered during XML serialization. Please see java logs for more information.
