Symptoms

Substitute/Complementary Items (P42260) Application causes open data pointer memory leaks.  A review of the logs shows the following messages:.
JDB4100006 and JDB4100005
5552/10052 WRK:Free Remote Env Thu Aug 20 15:56:39.124039 Jdb_ctl.c1810
JDB4100006 - DP - While freeing the JDB environment, leaked data pointer (11FEAA20), pointer handle (2), stored from File=B4100210.c, Function=CheckItemBranch, Line=202.
5552/10052 WRK:Free Remote Env Thu Aug 20 15:56:39.124041 Jdb_ctl.c1843
JDB4100005 - Application code leaked 1 data pointers which were detected when freeing environment ETPS (EnvHandle 287C7F10) for user DEVARAU. Please refer to the debug log for details. If there are not enough details in the debug log to determine the cause, set DataPointerTracing=1 and Output=FILE in the [DEBUG] section of the JDE.INI and watch for this error message again. Or, set logDPLeaksAtSignoff=TRUE in the [DEBUG] section of the JDE.INI and look for JDB4100006 error messages. This message (JDB4100005) will only appear with debug tools code or when debug logging is turned on.
