Project Requirements Planning (PRP) R3483 R3482 is consolidating demand from planned work orders and creating supply order messages with incorrect dates. When PRP is run on a item, the demand for a component is consolidated as expected, but the message request date does not match the earliest demand date.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Enter a multi-level Bill of material for a G item. Add a third level G item to the parent item.
Create a Project. Enter two or more work order tasks for the same item with different dates. Mark them each as shippable.
Run PRP planning on the project. Review P3411 messages. Note: One work order message for the third level item was suggested with the requested date of the second work order. Tested the same scenario out of Project using MRP. Got two messages and worked as expected.
