Symptoms

EDI 860 Inbound PO Change (R47131)

When an sales intercompany order is created with a future committed quantity on the SO Detail (F4211.SONE > 0), and an EDI 860 Inbound PO Change (R47131) transaction updates the dates on the SO Detail so the order is no longer future committed, the future committed quantity on the SO Detail (F4211.SONE) is not set to 0 and the order line remains future committed.

The issue only occurs with a sales intercompany order.

If EDI 860 Inbound PO Change (R47131) transaction updates the dates on the SO Detail so the order is no longer future committed, the future committed quantity on the SO Detail (F4211.SONE) should be reset to 0.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In the header branch plant, branch commitment days are set to 999
  2. In the detail branch plant, branch commitment days are set to 7
  3. The order is created more than 7 days in the future
  4. Future Committed Quantity (F4211.SONE) is populated
  5. Client receives a EDI 860 Inbound PO Change transaction that moves the requested, scheduled and promised dates to today's date
  6. After EDI 860 Inbound PO Change (R47131) is run, the order remains future committed
