E1: 51: Over/Under Billing JE Incorrect When Running Profit Recognition By Subledger (Doc ID 2075869.1)

Last updated on JUNE 07, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Project Costing - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running the Create Journal Entries program (R51444) for a specific job and sub ledger, the system is not creating the correct over/under billing journal entry at the sub ledger level.
The projected final amount at the sub ledger level is not populated and therefore the job percent complete calculates as zero and the over/under billing calculates as just the actual revenue amount which is incorrect.

The over/under billing amount at the sub ledger level should be calculated as follows:
Job percent complete = Actual amounts / Projected Final amounts

Job Percent Complete x Projected Final Revenue = Earned Revenue

Earned Revenue - Actual Revenue = Over/Under Billing amount.
