Purpose

This knowledge document contains media that was created to give high level overviews of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne tools release upgrade process for different components.The knowledge attachments are not meant as a substitute for the Tools Release Reference Guide or Server Manager Guide, but as an aid for better understanding of the processes and tools available to aid in the tools release upgrade.

Note: Oracle recommends setting up multifoundation and upgrading the tools release on a non-Production environment first, and then do thorough testing (application and performance) before proceeding to upgrade other environments including Production.

This document is intended for the JDE CNC administrators who will be installing or upgrading the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software. The knowledge included in this document is meant for users who have a basic high level understanding of the tools release upgrade process.
