E1: 75A: DBAs Are Included In Taxable Gross Amounts When Using Australia Back-Pay Functionality (Doc ID 2082077.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 30, 2015

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Australia/New Zealand Payroll - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a payroll is run over an employee who is entering back-pay time using a pay type with a Pay Source = 4 (Australia Back-Pay), DBAs that are not assigned to the PAYG tax input are still having their gross amounts added to the taxable gross amounts.  This is causing actual taxes to calculate incorrectly due to the taxable gross being overstated.  When using a pay type with a Pay Source = H, the system recognizes that the PAYG input is not assigned and does not include the DBA amount in the taxable gross amounts.
