E1: 08: Applicant ALPH Name Not In Sync (F08401 and F0101) (Doc ID 2083766.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 30, 2015

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Human Resources Management - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

P08401 (Work With Applicants) / P01012 (Address Book)

If an applicant record is open in P08401 (Work With Applicants) while a revision is being made to the person's name (ALPH) in P01012 (Address Book), then the revised ALPH is written to the F0101 but not to the F08401 table. This issue occurs when both applications are open for updates simultaneously, and it also can occur during the hiring process if a user modifies the AB record through P01012 while the P08401/P0801 hiring steps are still in progress. If a subsequent change is made to the Address Book record then the names 're-sync' since there is no longer a conflict of the records being locked for update.
