Symptoms
Visual EventRule Compare( VER) Tool goes to 'Not Responding' state when trying to compare the business function XT4111Z1 latest source code with any code that does not have the latest ESU ( JM18742 ) applied .Sometimes the VER tool crashes and closes the VER window .
This issue may also occur when comparing code changes for any other large business function source. Some known business functions that cause the VER compare to hang are listed below :
