E1: 31: When Sales Order with Line Type W Items is Changed, F3112 Order Quantity is Changed

(Doc ID 2086255.1)

Last updated on APRIL 25, 2016

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a sales order with line type W items is changed, the F3112, Work Order Routing table, order quantity is changed.
When certain changes are made to a multi-line sales order, like the header request date, the order quantity in the F3112 is changed to the quantity for the last line in the sales order for all associated work orders. This error does not occur when changing the customer purchase order, so not all sales order header fields trigger this issue.

Changes in the sales order date should not change the quantity in the F3112 table.

This behavior is causing incorrect variances created in F3112.
