Unnecessary IB records are created in item ledger (F4111) for child style items for the following process.
- When adding a root item (level 0), no item cost (F4105) is set and multiple levels of child items are generated .
- Set 02 inventory cost (F4105) for level 1 item from Work With Style Item Master Brows (PCW51). Then the same inventory cost is populated to all items in the lower levels.
- Add on hand inventory for the very lowest items using inventory transfer (P4114).
- Next, add 02 inventory cost in F4105 for the root item from Work With Style Item Master Brows (PCW51). As a result, unnecessary IB records in item ledger (F4111) are created to the very lowest child items.
