E1 queries to a DB2/400 database from a Windows machine using iSeries Navigator V7R1 fail to fetch all the data when the filter values are not using the full length of the field.
When E1 perform queries to the database matching strings with values shorter than the length of the field, the queries return empty.
If the same query is executed from the SQL Window in iSeries Navigator, it fetches all the records as expected.
- Field CTCMPC is 10char long.
- Query from SQL iSeries Navigator: SELECT * FROM ps900dta.f05111 WHERE CTCMPC='EHS' returns 6 results.
- Query from UTB generating the same query in debug log: returns 0 results.
- Querying any 10char long string value will return the results.
iAccess/iSeries Navigator was upgraded to V7R1 to be able to work in Windows 2012 R2.
