E1: GRID: Copied Grid Format is Not Used when Application is called from a Form Interconnect (Doc ID 2094776.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 01, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 8.98 to 9.1 [Release 8.98 to 9.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When creating a Grid Format (user override) on an application that was called from a Row or Form exit, the user override record is saved using the version associated with the Parent application. If the called application does not have any processing options or associated versions, this causes an issue when you try to copy the user override record.  If the UO record is then copied to *PUBIC or another user, there is a validation on the version associated with the application and if there are no versions associated with the application, no version value is copied. When accessing the application again through a form interconnect, the copied UO record is not applied as it does not have a version value.
