Symptoms

After enabling the SSL for JAS or BSSV instance configured on WebSphere Application Server, the SSL enabled URL fails to load with either "500 Internal Server Error" or "Page cannot be displayed" message on screen and in few cases the HTTP Server won't start after completing the configuration. The following error message shows up IBM HTTP Server error.log:

Also none of the certificates are listed under  "Signer Certificates" link on WAS Console.
