E1: 03B: JP010020 Customer Master BSSV (processCustomer) Does Not Set Default Value For F03012.EDPM Column
Last updated on MAY 31, 2016
Applies to:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Receivable - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When using the Customer Master Business Service (BSSV JP010020 processCustomer) to call the Customer Master MBF (N0100042) and create Customer Master records, the default value of "I" in the Data Dictionary for F03012.EDPM does not populate on the new record. Instead, a blank value is defaulted into the field.
This is in direct contrast with the way the Supplier Master Business Service (BSSV JP010030 processSupplier) functions, setting F0401.EDPM = ‘I’ because the Supplier Master MBF (N0100043) is calling validation of Data Dictionary EDPM explicitly.
