E1: 43: Purchase Order Header Record (F4301) Is Missing, When Remove Msg Row Exit Is Used In Purchase Order Approvals (P43081) (Doc ID 2102520.1)

Symptoms

PO header record is deleted from F4301, When Remove Msg row exit is used in P43081 to remove rejected order lines from appearing.


The issue occurs when Purchase order is processed through below steps.

  1. P4310 - As an originator, create a Purchase Order (PO). Have the PO enter an approval route.
  2. P43081 - As the approver, reject the PO.
  3. P43081 - As originator, select the rejected order line and take the row exit Remove Msg to remove the order line.
  4. Now query on the PO in F4301 and notice the Header record is gone.
