Last updated on MAY 25, 2016
Applies to:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
MRP not suggesting correct Defer messages when Promise Dates are different to Planned Effective Dates and where demand for the Production Controlled (PMPN) items are later than supply
This is not an issue if both dates are in past due.
In the case where an item is production number controlled and exists on a purchase order where the Promise delivery date and Planned Effective dates
are different and where demand for the PO exists in a future/later bucket, MRP will create incorrect G and O messages depending on whether the item is
stocking type P or M.
It is expected that MRP should create DEFER messages.
