E1: 46: P4617 New Processing Option for Variance Split Lines Next Status
Last updated on JULY 11, 2016
Applies to:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Warehouse Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When the quantity in the location is less than the suggested quantity, the system places the variance (remaining) quantity in a variance location.
On the sales order side, the original quantity is split between the quantity pick confirmed and the quantity sent to the variance location, and in the same way as overpicking, the process doesn¿t change the quantity on the Sales Order.
The next status for both lines is the same, 560 (as per P4617 processing options).
The customer would like for a new processing option to be added in P4617 that would allow the user to set a different next status for the variance qty lines, so they can be identified later in the SO life cycle.
Alternatively, the Cancel processing option might also be used for the same purpose.
