P31B31C Operation Lot Costs
F31B03 Barrel Master
When more than one T2B movement is performed on the same VBT with multiple operations, one per tank, the system is :
1. Calculating the Barrel Fill Cost only on the 1st operation and ignoring the fill cost on subsequent operations.
2. The Barrel Number of Fills (F31B03) is incorrect.
Assuming all the barrels are brand new and additional volume is added to the VBT (additional barrels) in the course of 3 operations-
The number of fills for the barrels in Op#1 is = 3, fill count is 2 for the additional barrels in Op#2 and fill count is 1 for the additional barrels in Op#3.
It is expected that the fill count on the all of the barrels = 1 because each barrel was only filled once.
Create a cost group that contains a 'FILL' Cost Component. The fill cost component FILLCC = $10.00
Create 30 barrels, each setup with the cost group that includes the 'Fill' Cost Component
1) Op#1: Move 600 GA from Tank A to new VBT01 (10 barrels).
VBT01 is 10 barrels with volume 600 GA.
Review Lot Costs Op#1- Cost Component FILLCC = $10.00. This is correct.
Review F31B03 - Number Fills = 1 on the 10 barrels in the VBT. This is correct.
2) Op#2: Move 600 GA from Tank B to VBT01 (10 additional barrels).
VBT0001 is now 20 barrels with volume 1200 GA.
Review Lot Costs Op#2- Cost Component FILLCC is still only $10.00 (Should be $20.00).
Review F31B03 - Number Fills = 2 on first 10 barrels, and 1 on the next 10 barrels. (All barrels have only been filled once, barrel count should be 1 on all barrels)
3) Op#3: Move 600 GA from Tank C to VBT01 (another 10 barrels).
VBT01 is now 30 barrels with a volume of 1800 GA.
Review Lot Costs Op#3- Cost Component FILLCC is still only $10.00 (should be $30.00).
Review F31B03 - Number Fills = 3 on first 10 barrels, and 2 on the 2nd 10 barrels and 1 on the last set of barrels. (All barrels have only been filled once, barrel count should be 1 on all barrels)
