P40G03 Harvest Entry
In Europe regulations apply to withholding days per used spray-item.
The withholding days are based on brand of the spray, the country where used, and the product on which it is used (Preferred Pesticide List) and possibly additional parameters. Also the allowed doses are legally prescribed.
1. A method to maintain the legal requirements in JDEdwards (additionally, have this updated automatically because regulations vary often).
2. Apply the withholding days automatically based on the used chemical in the spray-activity and the country where it is used. It should not be possible to override legally imposed number of days.
3. If a spray-operation is executed later than planned this might cause the harvest date to be postponed as well. This should be done automatically?
4. Permit the farmer to register the actual use of the used chemical (rather than the prescribed use as in the spray-item information). If the actual usage is too high, a message should go to the farmer representative and
optionally the harvest should be put on hold. The farmer should not be informed, as to prevent the reporting of a lower dose and the overdose remains unnoticed (as not 100% of the crop is always inspected).
