Commitment Integrity Report (R40910)

The Commitment Integrity Report (R40910) is producing inconsistent and incorrect results depending upon the Commitment Variance Display processing option setting when order lines contain G/L dates in future years (beyond 2016). The problem only occurs if the Effective Date of the Report is not after the last future date G/L Date in the data. If the Effective Date of the Report is after the last future G/L date in the data the reports print as expected.

The issue can be duplicated with the following steps:

  1. Create a new G/L Account that has never been used before.
  2. Create a 34 line PO with one line per month with G/L dates from March 2016 to December 2018.
  3. Receive the first line of the PO.
  4. Post the Receipt Batch.
  5. Setup a version of Commitment Integrity Report (R40910) with Process Tab Option #1 (Commitment Variance Display) to 1 (Print all accounts having commitment variance only) and with Report Date of 12/31/2015 on Default Tab Option #1.
  6. Run the Commitment Integrity Report (R40910) version 1. Variances are displayed when in fact there are no integrity variances in the data.
  7. Setup a second version of Commitment Integrity Report (R40910) with Process Tab Option #1 (Commitment Variance Display) to Blank (Print all accounts with and without commitment variance) and with Report Date of 12/31/2015 on Default Tab Option #1.
  8. Run the Commitment Integrity Report (R40910) version 2. Variances are displayed when in fact there are no integrity variances in the data.
  9. Setup a third version of Commitment Integrity Report (R40910) with Process Tab Option #1 (Commitment Variance Display) to 1 (Print all accounts having commitment variance only) and with Report Date of 12/31/2018 on Default Tab Option #1.
  10. Run the Commitment Integrity Report (R40910) version 3. A blank PDF is displayed because there are no variances.
  11. Setup a fourth version of Commitment Integrity Report (R40910) with Process Tab Option #1 (Commitment Variance Display) to Blank (Print all accounts with and without commitment variance) and with Report Date of 12/31/2018 on Default Tab Option #1.
  12. Run the Commitment Integrity Report (R40910) version 4. The report line is printed correctly with no variances.
