E1: 34: MRP Plans Incorrectly When Demand Exists on a Non Working Day for a Forecast Consumption Item (Doc ID 2118383.1)

Last updated on MARCH 24, 2016

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When demand for a forecast consumption item falls on a "H - Holiday" or Non Working day, MRP does not balance supply and demand to zero and there are some unsatisfied demand in the system. The issue occurs as MRP would always plan a day prior for the demand of a Item on a holiday, but for a forecast consumption item this will move it to a previous forecast consumption period.
