E1: INST: WLSH4A WebDev Feature Install For 9.2 Without User Interaction (Doc ID 2120542.1)

Last updated on MAY 01, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

During the install of the WebDev feature for the 9.2 Fat Client, the user is prompted for information that is necessary to access and configure the local WebLogic Server.

The information requested in this window is: admin username and password, password confirmation, admin server port and E1 port number. Using these credentials the WLSH4A installer is able to create and configure a WebLogic Admin user and domain.

Until Tools Release 9.2, the WebDev feature came as OH4A installer. The OH4A installer was a silent installer, which means that it did not prompt the user for any information.

This also applies to the case where the WebDev feature comes with a package.
