E1: 49: Pick Confirm And Pack Confirm Kit Components End In Error (Doc ID 2128142.1)

Symptoms

Pack Confirming part of the kit components after Pick Confirming all components will fail to insert records in F4942 and end in error. Transaction cannot be committed.

Scenario:
A sales order is created for a kit item that has 3 components. Pick Confirming is done for all components but not for the kit parent as this is not a physical item that can be handled or moved. Shipment of items is not done all at once. Pack Confirming is done for every component at different point of times.
