E1 9.0 / P3411 MRP Message Revisions
In P3411 MRP Messages, when processing an O type message for a purchased item with a blanket order, if the quantity entered in the P43216 Blanket Release form is less than the Required Quantity suggested by MRP, the following warning message is displayed:
CAUSE....There is a remaining quantity to be ordered. Resolution . . This is a warning message. If it is your intention to have a remaining quantity, press the Enter key and the quantity you selected will be accepted by this facility. However, if you do not intend to have a remaining quantity, adjust the quantities selected to have them add up to the original quantity selected.
The warning indicates that the lesser quantity will be accepted if the user clicks OK.
However, the purchase order that is generated contains multiple lines with varying quantities. There is always a line with the requested (P43216 entered quantity) quantity and also one or more lines with a quantity that may sum to the MRP Required Quantity, or sum to the Blanket Order open quantity, or sum to a miscellaneous quantity. Sometimes, the additional lines do not have an associated blanket order indicated.
Expected Behavior: P3411 should create a purchase order with a single line for the quantity entered in the P43216 Blanket Release form Quantity field.
