E1: 42: Revert Functionality Associated with Tab Sequence within P4210 of JDE E1 9.2 Version (Doc ID 2133794.1)

Last updated on MAY 03, 2016

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Entry - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When trying to add a Sales Order via P4210; there is a significant difference in the number of times the Tab button needs to be pressed to move the Cursor from SO Header 'Ship To' field to SO Detail 'Quantity Ordered' field. Within 9.1 Version, User needed to press 3 times, whereas in 9.2, for the same sequence User needs to press 11 times.

Above changes were done as part of Accessibility Project; which ensures all Users can interactively use the UI, including all Grid Header Control fields via keyboard. Uniformity was introduced within Tab behavior, where controls were added into the Tab sequence with the same tab index value by design.

Request to revert the functionality similar to JDE E1 9.1 Version, as User has to unnecessarily click 8 times more to reach Quantity Ordered field, which is quite annoying and irrelevant.
