P4210 - Configured Sales Order Entry
When setting item specific UOMs for a configured parent item defined with an unconditional X rule to calculate the SO Extended Price, the system does not apply the UOM conversions correctly. If the transaction UOM on the SO detail line is different from the Primary UOM of the configured parent, the Unit Price and Extended Price are either blank or having a value of zero. When setting system wide UOM conversions, the Unit Price and Extended Price on the SO detail line are calculated correctly, as per the UOM conversions defined in the P41003. However, for client's scenario, it's not possible to use system-wide UOM conversions as the configured items can be sold using multiple UOMs, and as each configured item weights differently, a global UOM conversion cannot be established.
