E1: GRID: Custom Grid Format Save Icon Disappears After Save As in Grid Format Manager (Doc ID 2134485.1)

Last updated on JULY 21, 2020

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Issue occurs when a user creates a custom grid format based on another existing grid format.

Steps to replicate:

1) Creates a custom grid format (Test1)

2) Saves changes

3) Modifies Test1 by changing column sizes or order. This makes the green Save icon appear next to the grid drop down, indicating that this is not the current save state of Test1

4) Clicks the Save Icon-> Selects Save As-> Creates a new custom grid format (Test2)

When switching between Test1 and Test2, before exiting the application, it will appear that both Test1 and Test2 are displaying the current save states and are identical.

Test1 is not displaying the current save state of the grid format, but there is no longer a Save icon to indicate that it is not current.

When the user exits the application, Test1 will return to displaying its current save state.
