Symptoms

 The maximum length for the business unit (MCU) is 12 positions. If there is a need to create a transaction and charge a business unit using subledger type 'C', the subledger field is limited to 8 positions. This is a functionality limitation. There is a need to extend the subledger field to 12 positions to accommodate a maximum business unit code so that transaction using a Subledger Type 'C' can be used.
