E1: 30/31: Inconsistency in Time Basis Code Value Being Populated within P3003 and P3112

(Doc ID 2138629.1)

Last updated on MAY 17, 2016

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

With Item Branch Time Basis (TIMB) value being different than the value specified within DD; creating a Routing for an Item via P3003 picks up the TIMB value from Item Branch and not from DD. Similarly, when manually adding a Workcentre via Work Order>Routing for the Item, system picks up the Time Basis Code (TIMB) value from Data Dictionary and not from Item Branch.

Per BUG 10771623 Final Disposition; Time Basis Code in the Item/Branch record was designed to be used with the Leadtime Rollup, not as a default to the Routing. Both Routing and Routing Instructions were designed to default the Time Basis Code from the Data Dictionary.'

Functionality should be consistent, where P3003 & P3112 picks the value either from Item Branch or from DD.
