Symptoms

R89078502 (ADP Quarterly File TC)

The ADP Quarterly file produced by R89078502 (ADP Quarterly File TC) does not contain the new ADP field codes for Employee Residential Address and Part Time Indicator. This is part of the May ADP specifications update, and will become effective for testing in June 2016.

New Employee Residential Address Field Codes - Use these field codes to report employee residential addresses to Local Tax agencies that may require this information on tax returns. Local jurisdictions subject to Pennsylvania Act 32 require a valid employee residence address and if not provided, may result in agency notices. If the Employee Residential Address is not provided to ADP, then they will use the Employee Mailing Address as the alternative.
Z5 (Employee Residential Address - Street)
Z6 (Employee Residential Address - Street - Second Line)
Z7 (Employee Residential Address - City)
Z8 (Employee Residential Address - State)
Z9 (Employee Residential Address - Zip Code)

Part-Time Employee Indicator - Use this existing indicator to identify an employee who works under 35 hours a week. (These hours apply to Vermont only. Puerto Rico has a different rule). Vermont Department of Taxation requires this information on the quarterly tax return and if not provided, may result in agency notices.
Y5 (Part-Time Employee Indicator-State)
