Line Type default for Add Item exit in Configurator

P3210 Processing Option sets the default Line Type for X rule prices. "This processing option uses line type to group X rule prices added on the fly." There is no processing option to set Line Type for an Item added on the fly. When I add an Item it is using the same line type as is in the processing option for Price/Cost but that is not the correct Line Type to use for an added Item. The Line Type for an added Item should come from the Item Branch record for that Item.

Need to use processing option #3 under the defaults tab of the P3210 for only X prices and costs added on the fly through Edit Item Price/Cost form


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Set the processing option #3 under the defaults tab of the P3210 to
something other than 'S'
2.Enter a configured sales order configuring it without any added lines
3.Inquire on it and take the Kit/Configurator row exit in the detail
4.Choose the Edit Item Price/Cost from the drop down in the P3210
5.Add a component on the fly which uses the line type from the defaults tab
of the called version of the P3210
6.OK the added component and re-inquire on the sales order to verify it has
used the line type from the P3210
