E1: FDA: Form Design Aid (FDA) Tool Crashes After Using Event Rule Assignment Statement in Post Commit Event (Doc ID 2148635.1)

Symptoms

Form Design Aid (FDA) tool crashes after doing an Assignment Event Rule (ER) statement in Post Commit event. This issue is duplicated in Tools Release 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.0.4. Issue does not happen in Tools Release 9.1.*.

Steps to Duplicate:

  1. Open an application (example P4205) in FDA.
  2. Right-click on the form "Shipment Confirmation" and click Edit ER.
  3. Select the Post Commit event.
  4. Create a new variable (example evt_cTest_EV01) based on data item alias EV01.
  5. Click Assignment button
  6. Set evt_cTest_EV01 = A
  7. Click OK. FDA crashes
