E1:ADF "java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException" Exception While Running Sample ADF Application (Doc ID 2154799.1)

Symptoms

Customer have followed steps in the "JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Developer's Guide for EnterpriseOne Application Development Framework (ADF) Applications" to create an ADF sample Address book application. However, the same behavior happens when running the work load calendar where after after loading the first 25 rows and click on any of the records it displays the information, then loads the next 26 to 50 records and click on any of the records the app still works. However, the issue is when going back to the first 25 records and click on any of those records it throws an exception: DCA-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException. The same issue happens with the Work Center by clicking the flash light... and load row 25+ and select the first record... it does not bring the selected value back.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Implement work load calendar or address books sample
2. Execute and list the first 25 items in first page.
3. Go to the next page and list the items
4. Go back to first 25 listed items and attempt to select the first item again.
