Information in this document applies to any platform.
When Line-Of-Business (LOB) functionality is activated in the A/R Constants (P0000), it is possible to set up multiple customer master records for one customer, for each of the companies that it does business with. For more information on this see the following:
- KM article 'E1: 03B: Overview and Set Up of A/R Constants and Enhanced A/R Constants for Line of Business and Date-Effective Category Code Processing ... (Doc ID 1982405.1)
- Online JDE1 A/R Guide for 9.1: Section 126.96.36.199 Line of Business Processing
- Online JDE1 A/R Guide for 9.2: Section 188.8.131.52 Line of Business Processing
However, it is currently not possible to set up a credit insurance policy for a customer at the Line-Of-Business (LOB) level. So it is not possible to set these up per combination of customer and company, e.g. you cannot have one credit insurance policy for customer ABC and company 1, and another for this same customer ABC and company 55.
Clients are requesting the functionality to be able to set up credit insurance policies by Line-Of-Business (LOB).
