Details

Health and Safety Incident Management now has functionality to assist in managing Tasks.  Task Management has been enhanced to automatically send reminders about tasks that are coming due or are overdue to the individuals responsible for the task, their supervisor, and to others associated with the incident.

What's New?

Task Tickler Notification (R54HS420)

A new batch application, R54HS420 was created.  This UBE will send task reminders based on a date comparison of the system date and the task ending date plus the tickler days set in the processing options. Reminders can be sent to the following individuals, Task Assigned To, Task Assigned To's Supervisor, Incident Originator, Incident Reported By, Incident Investigated By, Incident Handler. The report provided will show the tasks for which reminders were sent.

Utilizing the batch application will automate task reminders.  The features include:

Notification can be sent to the employee work center or as an email.

R54HS420 Processing Options

Task Tickler Audit Report

This report indicates what notifications were sent.

Task Reminder Button - This button as been added to both the Incident Master (P54HS00) and Incident Task Inquiry (P54HS215) applications. The send reminder feature allows you to interactively send reminder notifications. Reminders are sent immediately when the send reminder feature is used, thus reminders are not based on a number of tickler days. Displaying the button is optional. A processing option controls the display of the button.

Processing Option #1 controls the reminder button.  If set to 'No', the button does not display.
