Goal
Correction submissions can be made for previous submissions that were accepted by the IRS. Accepted submissions may have an IRS Submission Status “A” (Accepted), “E” (Accepted with Errors) or “P” (Partially Accepted). Before you can make corrections to an accepted submission you must first create a correction AIR ID. This is required so that the corrected record(s) can be related to the original record(s).
Use this same process to create a correction of a correction submission that was accepted (even with errors). A new AIR ID is needed that points to the correction.
This document reviews the steps for creating a correction Form 1094-C. A correction for a Form 1095-C is also included but each step is not covered in detail. Refer to previously published Oracle Support Document 2162282.1 for more detailed information about correcting Form 1095-C if you need to make a 1095-C correction.
